DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District sponsored a Free Storm Spotter Class.
Level 1: (Sat. March 29, 2008 ) was basic severe weather observation training. You will learn definitions of severe
weather and how to report it.
Level 2: (Sat. March 29, 2008 ) was an advanced class that builds on Level 1 providing more information and in-depth
training. You will interpret computerized forecasting information and identifying cloud formations.
Training was provided by St. Louis County Police Emergency SKYWARN.
